What is a credit report
A credit report is a comprehensive record of your financial credit activities and reflects your financial status. In addition to personal data such as public records, addresses, and phone numbers, a credit report contains repayment records, debt burden, new credit accounts, credit mix, enquiry records, etc.
Therefore, a credit report resembles a financial health check report. It shows your credit history and presents your financial reputation through a credit score.
Where does the credit data of the credit report come from?
Credit providers (e.g. banks and financial institutions) will provide your credit data to credit reference agencies after obtaining your consent and update your credit data regularly.

Should I check my credit report regularly?
You should regularly check your credit report to ensure the accuracy of the credit data, as inaccurate data may lower your credit score and even be a sign of fraudulent activity.
