NOVA was named as a selected credit reference agency under Credit Data Smart in November 2022.
“Credit Data Smart” is developed by the Hong Kong Association of Banks (HKAB), the DTC Association (The Hong Kong Association of Restricted Licence Banks and Deposit-taking Companies) (DTCA), and the Hong Kong S.A.R. Licensed Money Lenders Association Limited (LMLA) (collectively, “Industry Associations”), with the support of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA). It is owned by the Industry Associations. Selected Credit Reference Agency (Selected CRA) is a Credit Reference Agency (CRA) that has successfully satisfied the requirements outlined in Credit Data Smart. As a result, it has been selected by the MCRAUG (Multiple Credit Reference Agencies User Group) to operate as a service provider for delivering consumer credit reference services in Credit Data Smart.
