Nova Credit becomes the first CRA approved to implement Greater Bay Area Standard Contract for Northbound and Southbound Data Flows

On 12 March, Nova Credit’s “Cross-boundary Hong Kong Consumer Credit Report”  (Northbound Project) and Nova Nansha’s “Cross-boundary Customer Credit Report Verification” (Southbound Project) were endorsed by the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Cyberspace Administration of Guangdong Province. This represents the first approval case enabling both northbound and southbound data flows under the framework of “Standard Contract for the Cross-boundary Flow of Personal Information within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Mainland, Hong Kong)”. This milestone signifies Nova Credit’s meaningful achievement in promoting secure and orderly data movement in the Greater Bay Area.
