Nova Credit is named as a Selected CRA under the MCRA Model
The Hong Kong Association of Banks (HKAB), The DTC Association (The Hong Kong Association of Restricted Licence Banks and Deposit-taking Companies), and the Hong Kong S.A.R. Licensed Money Lenders Association Limited (collectively, “Industry Associations”) announced on 28 November that Nova Credit Limited (NOVA) had been officially named as a Selected Credit Reference Agency (CRA) under the Multiple Credit Reference Agencies (MCRA) Model. NOVA will continue to work closely with the Industry Associations and all the other relevant parties to serve the financial industries and the general public.
Data protection has always been of utmost importance to NOVA. Our products and services are provided such that convenient yet reliable credit reference services will be available to the general public for a much-improved experience in banking and financial services.
In addition, NOVA has been actively exploring the use of data under different scenarios, taking advantage of NOVA’s unique standing in the Greater Bay Area (“GBA”) and data processing expertise in order to promote financial technology (“FinTech”) in Hong Kong:
Using cutting-edge technology for FinTech innovation
As an advocate of proven technologies, NOVA will inject new impetus into the local economy with Open API of personal banking solutions to stimulate the growth of the local FinTech industry.
Cross-boundary data to help banks’ GBA businesses
NOVA will continue to develop cross-boundary data services and promote the interchange of financial data in GBA while assisting financial institutions to expand their businesses in the area with enhanced intra-GBA data connectivity. Small and medium-sized enterprises will enjoy better financing opportunities and benefit from the synergies we created for their further business development.
Provision of comprehensive credit reporting services
In addition to the local market, NOVA continues to improve the connectivity of ASEAN countries along the Belt and Road to develop cross-regional credit reporting services in order to provide more convenient, reliable, and comprehensive support.
